GapStar LLC, an entity in the General Atlantic private equity group, has declared that its 1,044,147 shares in Intec Telecom Systems PLC ("Intec") are pledged to a financial institution. These pledged shares represent 0.34% of Intec's issued share capital. The General Atlantic private equity group owns 77,317,947 shares in Intec Telecom Systems PLC ("Intec"), representing 25.27% of Intec's issued share capital.  Rene Kern, a Non-Executive Director of Intec, does not personally own or control any Intec shares but, due to his management responsibilities at General Atlantic, has notified this disclosure as a connected person.
