Intec Telecom Systems PLC
Intec announces two new major contracts in EMEA & North America
Intec Telecom Systems PLC, a global provider of business and
operations support systems, is pleased to announce two multi-million
US dollar deals with existing customers, one with an operator
customer in our EMEA region and the second with a North
American-based communications service provider.
Intec's contract with its EMEA operator customer is for a major
convergent billing (Singl.eView) license upgrade. Intec has a
long-standing relationship with this prestigious operator, working
closely with them over a number of years. The revenue from this
agreement will be recognised in the current financial year.
The North American deal is for Intec's market-leading InterconnecT
solution which will be used in providing roaming services to other
carriers. The build-out will commence in H2 2009 under a three
year managed services contract to be fulfilled out of Intec's North
American HQ in Atlanta.
Andrew Taylor, Intec CEO commented:
"Intec is committed to helping its customers increase their
competitive edge while enabling significant cost-savings, more
important than ever as the global telecommunications market undergoes
increasing pressure. This announcement is further proof of our
outstanding ability to deliver world-class technology solutions and
is a significant achievement for the team, underpinning the Board's
expectations for the current year."
