Intec Telecom Systems PLC ('Intec' or 'the Company')

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for 1,758,425 Ordinary Shares of 1p each of Intec to be admitted to
the Official List.  These shares will be issued as a result of the partial
exercise of a share option granted to Robert Fleming & Co. Limited on 9 June
2000.  The 1,758,425 Ordinary shares have been placed by Robert Fleming & Co.
Limited with institutional investors.

These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.

A copy of this announcement has been admitted to the UK Listing Authority and
will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
