ingenta plc was notified on 30 January 2001 by Fidelity Investments that,
Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its direct and indirect subsidiaries
has a notifiable interest in 2,556,900 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.1% of
the issued Ordinary Share Capital of ingenta plc.
These shares are registered as follows:
Chase Nominees Ltd 200,000
Bankers Trust 203,100
Clydesdale Bank (Head Office) Nominees Limited 2,153,800
