MANAGEMENT REORGANISATION

The  current  Board  of  Directors  of  Informa  Group  plc  was
established following the merger of IBC Group and LLP Group last
December.  Initially the new Board, which was an amalgamation of
the two existing Boards, was established  in order to facilitate
the  merger  and integration process.  This work is now  largely
complete  and it is time to reorganise the Board to reflect  our
new integrated structure.

We  are  now  establishing a plc Board and  an  operating  Board
structure.    The  plc  Board  will  consist  of   Peter   Rigby
(Chairman),  David Gilbertson (Chief Executive),  Jim  Wilkinson
(Finance   Director),  Richard  Hooper  (Senior  Non   Executive
Director), Don de Groot (Non Executive Director) and Eric Barton
(Non  Executive  Director).  Accordingly Rhona Wyles,  Joop  van
Lotringen,  Stephen Warshaw, Peter Miller, John  Haines,  Stuart
Wallis  and Lord William Rees Mogg will step down from  the  plc
Board with effect from today.

Stuart  Wallis  and  Lord  William Rees-Mogg  respectively  past
Chairman of LLP and IBC, who had agreed to stay on for  a  short
period following the merger, will leave the Group entirely.  The
Group  would  like to wish Stuart Wallis and Lord William  Rees-
Mogg  well  for  the future and thank them for  all  their  past
contributions.

The  operating Board which is being established will consist  of
the  Chairman, Chief Executive, Finance Director,  Rhona  Wyles,
Joop  van  Lotringen, John Haines and Peter Miller.  In addition
Lindsey  Roberts,  John Quilter and Ken Bohlin  will  join  this
operating  Board to represent the Group's publishing activities.
It will be the task of the operating Board to control day to day
business operations and oversee organic growth and acquisitions.

Stephen Warshaw is leaving the Group but will continue to advise
Informa as an external consultant.

This reorganisation will create a more streamlined and efficient
management  structure  for the Group.   It  also  provides  more
flexibility  for  wider involvement in the  operational  Board's
deliberations.
