SAR 5 DISPOSAL

This is to advise you that currently Henderson Investors Limited and its fellow
subsidiaries (including Henderson Fund Management Limited), acting as agent for
its discretionary clients, hold (either directly or indirectly) 17,480,587
ordinary 10p shares in Informa Group plc which represents 14.94% of the issued
share capital of 116,978,000.  This follows the sale of 125,000 ordinary 10p
shares of Informa Group plc on 03 March 2000.
