Further to this morning's announcement by Informa regarding, inter alia, the
acquisition of PJB Publications Limited and a placing of shares (the
"Announcement"), the placing price has now been determined following completion
of the bookbuilding process. Informa confirms that 13,280,000 Placing Shares
have been placed at 280 pence per share, representing a discount of circa 0.1%
to the closing price for an Informa share on 1 December 2003. The Placing Shares
being issued represent circa 9.614 per cent of Informa's issued share capital
prior to the placing.

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for the Placing Shares to be admitted to listing on the Official List
and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities
respectively (together "Admission"). It is expected that Admission will become
effective and dealings will commence in the Placing Shares at 8.00 am on 5
December 2003.

The Placing is conditional, inter alia, upon Admission becoming effective by
8.00 am on 5 December 2003 (or such later time and/or date as UBS may agree) and
on no force majeure event or material adverse change having occurred before
Admission becoming effective. The Placing is also conditional on the Acquisition
Agreement (referred to in the Announcement) not having been terminated prior to
Admission.

Informa is being advised by UBS Investment Bank in connection with the Placing.
