Sponsored Level 1 ADR program admitted for Trading

Inchcape plc ("Inchcape" or the "Group"), the leading independent multi-brand Automotive Distributor and Retailer with global scale, trading on the London Stock Exchange ('LSE') Main Market under the symbol 'INCH', announces that its American Depositary Receipts ('ADRs') have been formally admitted to trading on the Over-The-Counter ('OTC') platform in the United States via a sponsored Level I ADR program. Deutsche Bank has been appointed as the Depositary Bank for Inchcape's ADR program. Each Inchcape ADR currently represents two LSE-listed Inchcape Ordinary Shares and this ratio will be adjusted to 1:1 on 27 January 2017. Inchcape's ADRs will trade under the symbol 'INCPY'.

ADRs enable qualifying non-US companies to have direct and broader exposure to the US investment community, allowing US investors to trade conveniently and efficiently in their normal exchange trading hours and with settlement in US dollars, and will complement Inchcape's existing primary listing on the LSE.
