Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd. is stockbroker to I.M. Group Ltd. and we write on
our client's behalf to report that following a share purchase on 30 November
2000. I.M. Group Ltd. holds 10,134,000 ordinary shares in Inchcape PLC (being
11.47% of the shares in issue*). These shares will be registered in the name of
Brewin Nominees Limited.
