Imperial Brands PLC (the Company) announces that it has today purchased for cancellation the following number of ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company:

Total number of shares purchased:	225,000
Average price paid per share:	GBp 3,309.22
Highest price paid per share:	GBp 3,324.50
Lowest price paid per share:	GBp 3,281.00

All shares were purchased from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited ("Credit Suisse") as an on exchange transaction subject to the rules of the London Stock Exchange.
