Impax Environmental Markets plc announces that on 29 July 2016 it purchased 147,000 of its own ordinary shares in the market at an average price of 194.8p per share. The highest price paid per ordinary share was 196.5p and the lowest price paid was 193.5p.  These shares will be cancelled. 

Following this share re-purchase, the Company's issued share capital will be 240,526,799 ordinary shares.  The Company will be holding 45,698,109 of these shares in Treasury.  Therefore, the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in the Company will be 194,828,690.
