Resignation of Dr. Robin Bidwell as Director


Impax Environmental Markets plc ('the Company') announces the resignation of Dr.
Robin Bidwell from its Board of Directors with immediate effect. Robin is the
chairman of Environmental Resources Management Ltd and has, since April 2003,
been a non-executive director of the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets
(OFGEM). Dr Bidwell has decided to step down from the Company's board in order
to concentrate on his work with ERM and the market regulator.

Richard Bernays, Chairman, commented: 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to
thank Robin for supporting the successful launch of the Company and for his
contribution since launch, and wish him well in his future endeavours.'
