IMI's Energy Controls Expands into China

IMI PLC 25 October 1999 IMI's Energy Controls expands into China IMI plc, the major international engineering group, today announces a significant £9.4 million ($15 million) contract win to supply severe service valves to China's new nuclear power plant, being built at Lianyungang, north of Shanghai. This contract was awarded to CCI, IMI's world leading manufacturer of severe service control valves for the oil, gas, power and pulp and paper industries. CCI's valves are designed and manufactured to operate in the most demanding environments where safety is critical. Consequently, its technologically advanced products are specifically designed to suit each application.
