11.52 under RNS 3471N. The price per share should read 300.07p per share and not
3.07p as previously reported, all other details remain unchanged.

In accordance with Section 329 of the Companies Act 1985, I hereby notify you
that after the close of dealing on 8th July 2003, each of the following
Directors of this Company acquired a beneficial interest in the number of new
shares shown against his name, namely shares purchased pursuant to their
participation in the IMI Share Purchase Plan (the Company's All Employee Share
Ownership Plan) at 300.07p per share.
