                    SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Image Scan announces the appointment of Robin Higgons as Sales and Marketing Director with effect from 1st July 2006.
This is a new board position and represents the continuing strengthening of Image Scan's management team.

Robin has considerable international experience working at board level with technology based companies and has been
acting as an external consultant to the company since May 2005.

Robin's role will involve expanding the company's international distributor network and establishing a new service and
maintenance profit centre.  He will also be responsible for exploiting the product portfolio across new industrial
sectors and developing the framework for future products and their commercialisation.

Image Scan also announces that Non Executive Director Peter Hughes is leaving the company with immediate effective to
take up a full time position with another company. The board of Image Scan would like to thank Peter for his
contribution and wish him every success with his new appointment.
