                               Total Voting Rights

IG Group Holdings plc ('IG' or 'the Company') has received notification from
Prudential plc, in respect of the ordinary 0.005p shares in the capital of IG
over which they hold voting rights. The notification is in accordance with the
Transparency Directive's new requirements for disclosure of major shareholdings.

The notification stated that as at 20 January 2007, Prudential plc and certain
of its subsidiary companies have an interest of 17,826,267 of the ordinary
0.005p shares, constituting 5.44% of the current issued share capital of the
Company.
