Directorate change

IG Group Holdings plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Hill as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 28 April 2011.

Stephen has extensive experience in media and online businesses, having worked as the CEO of the Financial Times for Pearson Plc between 1996 and 2002 and as the CEO of Betfair Limited from 2003-2005.

Stephen is an experienced non-executive director, having served on the boards of RSA Insurance Group plc, Psion plc and Interactive Data Corp in the past and currently serving on the board of Channel Four Television Corporation.

Jonathan Davie, Chairman of the Company, commenting on Stephen's appointment, said "I am delighted to welcome Stephen Hill to the board of the Company. Stephen brings extensive experience in marketing and online transactional businesses, which will assist us in continuing to develop and grow our business."
