IG Group Holdings Plc (the "Company"), a global leader in online trading was notified on 24 January  2017 of the following transaction carried out in respect of the Company's ordinary shares of 0.005p each ("Ordinary Shares") by Peter Hetherington, Chief Executive Officer of the Company (the "Transaction").

Details of the Transaction are set out below and in the attached notification as required by the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
