The Company was today notified that, on the same date, IG Employee Share Trustee
Limited acting as trustees of the International Greetings plc All Employee Share
Ownership Plan ('the Plan') purchased 20,000 ordinary shares of 5p each 
('Shares') at 281p per Share. Following this purchase, the Plan holds 151,763 
Shares.

The Directors of International Greetings plc in their capacity as members of the
class of beneficiaries and N. Fisher, M. Collini and S.A. Hedlund in their 
capacity as trustees of the Plan are deemed to have a non-beneficial interest in 
these ordinary shares.
