The company was notified on 12th July that on the same date IG Employee Share
Trustee Limited acting as trustees of the International Greetings plc All
Employee Share Ownership Plan ('the Plan') bought 74,400 ordinary shares. The
price for the acquisition of these shares was 339p.

Following the acquisition, the plan holds 74,400 shares.

The Directors of International Greetings in their capacity as members of the
class of beneficiaries and N Fisher, M Collini and S A Hedlund in their
capacity as trustees of the Plan are deemed to have a non beneficial interest
in these ordinary shares.
