International Greetings PLC, the leading designer and manufacturer of private
label greetings products and licensed stationery, held their Annual General
Meeting today at 11.30 a.m.

John Elfed Jones, Chairman, commented, 'The Group is now entering its busy
Christmas trading period and orders and deliveries to date are in line with
budgeted expectations.'

'The structural changes in the Gift Wrap division resulted in a significant
improvement in last year's operating performance. We are pleased to see this
trend continuing, and are confident this will enhance the Group's future
performance.'

'We are encouraged by the buoyant retail climate and our customers' view of
their expectations for this year's seasonal trading.'
