                                 Trading Update

IDOX plc ('IDOX' or 'the Group') is pleased to announce that trading for the 12
months to 31 October 2004 has been in line with market expectations.

The Directors also wish to report that the integration of TFPL Ltd, a leading
knowledge and information management consulting firm acquired in May 2004, has
been successfully completed.

Andrew Fraser, Chief Executive of IDOX, commented: 'During the past two years
IDOX has successfully transformed itself into a full service information
management company. Our combined offering of information management with
software, content and consulting is unique and we are now in a position to
capitalise on the considerable scale of cross-selling opportunities. We look
forward with confidence to sustained future growth.'

IDOX will announce final results for the 12 months ended 31 October 2004 on
Monday 13 December 2004.
