The board of Idox plc ("Idox") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Millard as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Jeremy Millard (aged 41) is currently a partner of Smith Square Partners LLP, where he provides corporate finance advice to public and private clients, primarily within the Technology and Telecommunications sectors.

Prior to this, Jeremy spent over five years at Rothschild as a Director based in their London office, advising IT Services, Software and Telecommunications companies, both private and public, on all aspects of corporate finance, including on a number of major cross-border transactions encompassing Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Between 2001 and 2007, Jeremy was an Associate Director at Hawkpoint Partners, working in its Corporate Advisory team, where he specialised in mid-market transactions, with a strong focus on advising UK listed companies.

Prior to moving into the City in 2000, Jeremy obtained a first class Master's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University and worked in a number of engineering industry roles for both the Ministry of Defence and Mars Snack Foods Europe before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1999.

Commenting on his appointment Martin Brooks, Chairman of Idox said, "We are delighted that Jeremy has agreed to join our Board to increase the pool of independent non-executive directors. As an experienced corporate financier, with a background in both accountancy and engineering, Jeremy brings to Idox an ideal skills set, together with significant City experience, most recently at Rothschild where he worked for over five years as a senior member of the TMT Team.

"His considerable experience within the corporate advisory world will be particularly valuable to Idox and bolster the expertise of the Board as it continues with its ambitious acquisition programme, both in the UK and overseas."

Jeremy Millard added, "I am very excited to join the Board of Idox.  I look forward to working with the Board and management team as we develop both of Idox's main software business, while at the same time continuing on the trajectory of consistent year on year profitable growth".
