IDOX announces that it was notified today by Abacus (C.I.) Limited ('the Trustee
'), Trustee of the Advanced Technology Trust ('the Trust'), that the Trust sold
100,000 shares in IDOX at a price of 12.5p per share on 14 August 2003.  Mr.
John Wisbey, Chairman of IDOX, is a beneficiary of the Trust, which retains
19,900,000 shares in IDOX.  The delay in announcement of this transaction was
caused by an oversight by the Trustee in notifying Mr. Wisbey and IDOX of the
sale of the shares.  The interest of Mr. Wisbey and connected parties in the
share capital of IDOX has decreased from 27,240,434 shares (17.72%) to
27,140,434 shares (17.67%). Proceeds of this sale have been used to pay trustee
fees and have not been paid directly to Mr. Wisbey or other beneficiaries.



The shares referred to in this announcement are the issued Ordinary Shares of 1p
each in IDOX.
