i-nexus Global plc (AIM: INX), a leading provider of cloud-based Strategy Execution software solutions designed for the Global 5000, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Firth as an independent Non-executive Director with effect from 18 February 2021.  Current Non-executive Director, Nigel Halkes, has informed the Board of his decision not to stand for re-election at the Company's forthcoming AGM in March, in order to focus on his other business interests. The Board would like to thank Nigel for his guidance and support since the Company's IPO in 2018.

Mr. Firth is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a highly experienced PLC board member with a strong understanding of the software industry. His current directorships include Parity Group Plc, an IT services and data consultancy business, Best of the Best plc, an organiser of weekly competitions on-line to win cars and other luxury prizes and Summerway Capital Plc, an acquisition company listed on AIM focused on investment and acquisition opportunities across software, SaaS and digital technologies and services. David acts as Chairman of the Audit committees for all three companies and is Chairman of the Remuneration committees for Parity Group Plc and Summerway Capital Plc. David was previously Finance Director of Penna Consulting plc from 1999 to 2016 and has held a number of board positions in public companies over the past 30 years across various sectors including HR consultancy and recruitment, IT services, financial markets, motor retailing and advertising.

Mr. Firth will assume the role of Chair of the Audit committee and member of the Remuneration committee of the Company in March, following the AGM.

Richard Cunningham, Chairman of i-nexus, commented: "I am delighted to welcome David to the i-nexus Board as a Non-executive Director. His wide-ranging business experience, strong financial background and knowledge of the software industry will be highly valuable to the Group, as we take the next steps in our growth strategy. While we are sad to see Nigel depart, his depth of public company experience has been a great support to the Board and we wish him all the very best."

About i-nexus Group plc

i-nexus supports some of the largest global companies in running, improving and changing their businesses through the provision of a scalable, enterprise-grade, cloud-based Continuous Improvement ("CI") and Strategy Execution ("SE") software platform. The platform is in use at global blue-chip businesses, predominantly based across the US and Europe, helping customers execute key strategic goals throughout all levels and divisions of their organisations.

The Group's software supports Hoshin Kanri, a strategy development methodology first introduced in the 1960s in Japan and born out of lean, six sigma and operational improvement theory. Hoshin Kanri (directly translated as "direction execution") is a systematic planning, implementation and review methodology which, when implemented, aims to ensure that the strategic goals of a company are properly communicated to all employees and that they drive progress and action at every level of the business.

i-nexus is headquartered in Coventry, UK.
