                     UPDATE ON DISCUSSIONS


ITE  Group plc ('ITE' or 'the Company') announced on 18 August
2000  that  it was involved in discussions with a third  party
with  regard  to  the latter potentially taking  a  meaningful
equity   stake  in  ITE.   The  Company  notes  recent   press
speculation  relating to this.  Whilst it  confirms  that  the
third  party concerned is Veronis Suhler, it should  be  noted
that  the  parties are still to agree terms,  particularly  in
relation to pricing and quantum.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
