Transaction in own shares

ITE Group plc ('ITE')

On 18 June 2007 ITE acquired 100,000 of its own ordinary shares of 1p each at a
price of 175.5p per share. These shares will be held in Treasury.

Following the purchase, ITE holds 1,365,000 of its ordinary shares in Treasury
and has a total of 257,251,641 ordinary shares (excluding shares held in
Treasury) in issue.
