                              BOARD APPOINTMENT

               STEPHEN WARSHAW APPOINTED GROUP CHIEF EXECUTIVE


ITE Group, the international exhibitions specialist, announces the appointment
of Stephen Warshaw as Group Chief Executive with immediate effect.  This will
coincide with Lawrie Lewis becoming non-executive Chairman.


Mr Warshaw, aged 53, joins from his role as Managing Director of Veronis
Suhler International Limited, where he helped set up the London based
international office of the leading US Media Merchant Bank.  Veronis Suhler's
private equity affiliate, VS & A Communications Partners, became a 16.9%
shareholder in ITE in November 2000.


Mr Warshaw's early career was spent with leading educational publishers,
including 11 years building business internationally with Oxford University
Press until 1986 when he joined William Collins Ltd as Managing Director of
the Reference and Education Division.


Mr. Warshaw spent seven years at Reed Elsevier plc from 1990-1996, where he
held a number of senior positions in Britain and abroad - including CEO of the
Reed Elsevier Medical Group and of the Reed Educational Publishing Group.


Before joining Veronis Suhler International last year, Stephen was Managing
Director at Getty Images Inc., the world's leading 'stock' photography
supplier to the advertising, design and publishing industries, and
subsequently a founder director of Informa plc, where he was Chief Executive
of Informa Publishing Group.


Commenting on Stephen's appointment, Lawrie Lewis, Chairman of ITE said, 'We
are delighted to welcome Stephen into the ITE team.  His wealth of media
sector experience together with his wide strategic and operational management
experience will prove invaluable to the Group's ongoing development'.


Mr Warshaw has nothing to disclose in relation to Rule 6.F.2(b)-(g) of the
Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
