                           Appointment to the Board

The Board of ITE Group Plc ('ITE' or 'the Company') is pleased to announce the
appointment of  Mr Christopher John  Russell  as a non-executive director of
the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Russell is a Fund Principal of Veronis, Suhler International Ltd and VS&A
Communications Partners III, L.P.. VS&A Communications Partners III, L.P.
through its investment vehicle VS&A-ITE,LLC is  a substantial shareholder in
the Company.

Christopher Russell has not held any directorships over the five years
preceding the date of appointment.

There are no other matters required to be disclosed by the Listing Rules in
connection with Christopher Russell's appointment.
