Change of Chairman

Further to the announcement made on 26 January 2012, ITE Group plc ('ITE') announces that Iain Paterson will step down as Chairman and leave the Board with effect from the close of business today.

Marco Sodi, who was appointed as a Non-Executive Director/Chairman Designate on 1 February 2012, will take over as Chairman of ITE immediately. He will also assume the chairmanship of the Nomination Committee and join the Remuneration Committee.

Commenting on Iain Paterson's ten year term as Chairman of ITE, Russell Taylor, Chief Executive, said:

"I have been fortunate to have worked alongside Iain for most of the last ten years and would like to thank him personally for his support and help throughout this period.  Since Iain was appointed Chairman in March 2002, he has led the business through a period of transformation and significant growth in shareholder value.  As a result of the contribution he has made to ITE he leaves the business well-positioned to continue its growth and development.  Marco Sodi takes over as Chairman of ITE and I look forward to working with him as we embark on the next stage of ITE's development."
