                    ITE Group PLC ('ITE' or 'the Company')

Additional Listing

ITE announces that it has applied to the UK Listing Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for listing of 2,916,362 ordinary shares in ITE, being those
shares issued to shareholders who elected to receive shares instead of cash in
respect of the final dividend of 0.95p per ordinary share for the year ended
30 September 2000.

It is expected that admission of these shares will become effective and
dealings commence on 2 March 2001.
