Hunting PLC ('Hunting')
Hunting announces two Board appointments to take effect on 1 January 2001.
Dennis Proctor will be appointed Chief Executive of Hunting. Dennis, 48, is a
US citizen and is currently the main board Director responsible for the
Group's international oilfield services activity. Dennis's extensive
experience in oil services will ensure that Hunting is well placed to pursue
its plan to focus in this area and to grow these activities both organically
and by acquisition.
Ken Miller, who has been Chief Executive of the Group since 1989, will be
appointed Deputy Chairman. Ken, who plans to retire during the first half of
2001, will retain responsibility for completing the sale of the Defence
Division, a process which is well advanced. Further announcements will be made
in due course.
There are no disclosures to make under paragraph 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the
listing rules.
