HUNTING COMPLETES SALE OF IRVIN COMPANIES
Following the announcement on 24 April 2001 of a conditional agreement to sell
the Irvin Companies (Irvin Aerospace Limited, Irvin Aerospace Inc. and Irvin

PLC today announces that it has completed the sale for a cash consideration of
£17 million subject to an adjustment to reflect the actual net assets at
completion.
The sale is part of Hunting PLC's strategy to exit its Defence activities in
order to concentrate on the opportunities in its oil services businesses.
