Hunting PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Iain Paterson as a
non-executive Director of the Company.

Iain Paterson, who is 53, joins the Board following a career at Enterprise Oil
plc where he was successively Exploration Director and then International
Director.  Prior to this he was 14 years at British Petroleum plc.

He is currently a non-executive Director of Paladin Resources plc and Chairman
of Octagon Energy Limited.
