Hunting PLC (LSE: HTG) the international energy services group today announces that David Barr, non executive Director, has stepped down from the Board with immediate effect.  Since his appointment as a Director, Mr Barr has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Logan International Inc. and is therefore unable to allocate sufficient time to his role as a Director of Hunting.  It is therefore with regret that the Board has accepted his resignation.

The Board of Hunting PLC wishes Mr Barr every success in his new role.

Accordingly, the Company will not be proposing his re-appointment as a Director of Hunting PLC at its Annual General Meeting on 20 April 2011.
