Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and the UK Listing
Authority for a Cash Placing of 1,195 Ordinary shares of 25p each of Hunting
Plc to be admitted to the Official List.  The shares will be listed in
connection with the conversion of  3524  8.25% Cumulative Convertible
Preference Shares.

The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued
ordinary share capital of the company.
