HUNTING TEAM TO SUPPORT TROOPS IN KOSOVO

Hunting PLC announces that a team led by its Defence
subsidiary, Hunting Engineering, has been awarded by the UK
Ministry of Defence a three year contract worth, with
extensions, over £100 million to provide Temporary Field
Accommodation and ongoing support services for the British
Army in Kosovo.

The Hunting team, which includes WS Atkins, Hunting Contract
Services, John Mowlem and MACE Shipping, will design,
construct and operate camps for 5000 troops stationed at 15-
20 sites.  These camps will consist of accommodation and
associated facilities including workshops, canteens,
ablutions, laundries and other utilities for use over the
winter of 1999 and beyond. Hunting Engineering will manage
the overall operation and will provide its range of Kudos
Kabins as accommodation units.

Commenting today, Ken Miller, Chief Executive of Hunting
PLC, said:  'We expanded our Defence Division into this

forces in carrying out their difficult tasks in Kosovo.'
