                              BOARD APPOINTMENTS                              

                                                                              
Hunting PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of two of its Oil          
Division's executives as Executive Directors of the Company.                  
                                                                              
   
Terry Gomke is CEO of Gibson Petroleum Co. Ltd based in Calgary, Alberta.     
Gibson Petroleum is the subsidiary of the Company involved in the marketing,  
transportation and terminal operations of crude oil and natural gas liquids.  
Terry,  who is 48, has been with Gibson for sixteen years and previously      
worked for Hudsons Bay Oil & Gas in Calgary in the areas of production,       
processing, marketing and transportation.

                                      
Dennis Proctor is CEO of Hunting Oilfield Services International (HOSINT), the
subsidiary of the Company which provides tubulars, threading and related
services to the Oil Industry on a global basis.  Dennis, aged 48, is based in
Houston, Texas and has worked in senior positions in the oil services segment
of the industry in Europe, Iran and Canada as well as the US.  He joined
HOSINT seven years ago on the acquisition of Interlock Technologies Inc.

These two appointments reflect Hunting PLC's recently announced decision to
concentrate its future development on Oil Services.
