AGM Statement

Hunting PLC 26 April 2006 26 April 2006 Hunting PLC AGM Trading Statement Hunting PLC ('Hunting'), the international energy services company, will be holding its AGM today. Richard Hunting, Chairman of Hunting, will be making the following statement: 'Hunting's first quarter results reflect a continuation of the strong activity experienced throughout 2005. Oil and gas companies have increased their capital expenditure to offset weak reserve replacement resulting in additional growth opportunities for the oil service industry. Our order books are strong, profit margins are increasing and the current year will see a full year of the benefits from the investments in additional capacity made in 2005. Gibson Energy's truck transportation continues to profit from the heavy oil expansion projects in Alberta, Canada. Its marketing activities, including Moose Jaw Asphalt, are benefiting from the continued volatility in the differentials between heavy and light crude oil prices. Hunting Energy's performance is being driven by increased drilling activities worldwide. Tenkay has high commodity prices and is fully operational following the hurricane disruption last year. Overall, trading is in line with the Board's expectations. We expect the strong trading conditions will continue for the remainder of 2006 and the Board continues to view the future with confidence.' -ENDS- For further information, please contact: Hunting PLC Dennis Proctor, Chief Executive Tel: 001 281 442 7382 Dennis Clark, Finance Director Tel: 020 7321 0123 Hogarth Partnership Limited Tel: 020 7357 9477 Andrew Jaques Anthony Arthur Notes to Editors: Hunting PLC is an international oil services company providing support solutions to the world's largest oil and gas companies.
