HSBC BANK PLC INCREASE IN SHARE CAPITAL
HSBC Bank plc has issued £987 million of additional ordinary
share capital to HSBC Holdings plc to fund in part the transfer
to HSBC Bank plc of 50.83 per cent of HSBC Republic Holdings
(Luxembourg) S.A., formerly Safra Republic Holdings S.A.
