Mr C de Croisset has today notified the Company of a disposal of a beneficial
interest in ten directors' qualification shares of EUR 5 each in Credit
Commercial de France (CCF), a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC). The ten
CCF shares have been acquired by HSBC in accordance with the terms of the
mandatory acquisition of CCF shares not previously tendered to the offer for CCF
at EUR 150 per CCF share.
