Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 3 June 2015 it purchased from UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 518.20p per share:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:				100,000
Highest purchase price paid per share:				522.25p
Lowest purchase price paid per share:				516.00p

Following the above transaction, the Company holds 100,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 651,730,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
