The Company has received notification pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985, that at the close of business on 3 November 2004, Morgan Stanley
Securities Limited, had an interest in 18,957,430 ordinary shares of MFI
Furniture Group Plc (3.04 per cent of the issued share capital) of which the
interest in 18,021,373 ordinary shares is pursuant to Section 208(5) of the
Companies Act 1985.
