The Company has received notification pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985 ('the Act'), that at the close of business on 11th November 2005,
BriTel Fund Nominees Limited, both directly and indirectly, had a notifiable
interest in 68,184,177 10 pence ordinary shares of MFI Furniture Group Plc
(10.87% per cent of the issued share capital).
