The Company has received notification pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985 ('the Act'), that at the close of business on 4th November 2005,
Merrill Lynch & Co, Inc no longer had a notifiable interest in the ordinary
shares of MFI Furniture Group Plc in accordance with the aforementioned section
of the Act.
