The Company has received notification pursuant to Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985, that at the close of business on 9 June 2005, Deutsche Bank AG, and
its subsidiary companies no longer have a notifiable interest in ordinary shares
of MFI Furniture Group Plc in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies Act
1985.
