THE MFI SHARESAVE PLAN


We hereby notify you that on 30 October 2003 MFI Furniture Group Plc ('the
Company') granted options over 5,692,775 MFI Furniture Group Plc ordinary 10p
shares ('the shares') to 3,644 employees under the terms of the MFI Sharesave
Plan ('the Plan'). Under the Plan, participants will make regular savings and at
the end of the five-year contract period, participants may use all or part of
their savings and bonus to purchase shares at the option price of 184 pence per
share.


All the executive directors of MFI Furniture Group Plc ('the Company') are
deemed to be interested in the Plan as participants and potential beneficiaries.
