THE MFI SHARESAVE SCHEME

We hereby notify you that following the maturity on 1 November 2002 of the three
year savings contract in connection with the grant of share options made under
the MFI Sharesave Scheme (the 'Scheme ') on 19 August 1999, Bob Wilson, an
executive director of MFI Furniture Group Plc ('the Company') and a participant
of the Scheme, on 25 November 2002, exercised his option to buy 6,458 MFI
Furniture Group Plc ordinary 10p shares at 30 pence each. Mr Wilson's holding in
the Company now stands at 85,627 ordinary 10p shares, such notification having
been given in accordance with Section 324 of the Companies Act 1985.
