NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTION IN SHARES BY PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant under the 2009 Howden Joinery Group plc Long-Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP")

The Company announces that today it granted the following award over ordinary shares of the Company to Andrew Gault, the e-Commerce Director and a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ("PDMR"), under the LTIP.

The award will vest after a three year period subject to certain performance conditions being met. A further two year holding period will then apply to any shares Mr Gault is entitled to acquire on vesting.
