Director/PDMR Dealing - Exercise of SAYE Options

Hotel Chocolat announces today that Matt Pritchard, Chief Financial Officer, has exercised 4,864 options over ordinary shares of 0.1p in the Company ("Ordinary Shares" and the "Options") with an exercise price of £1.48 per Ordinary Share.

The Options were issued pursuant to the Hotel Chocolat Group plc 2016 Save As You Earn Plan (the "Plan"). The Plan allows employees to make regular monthly contributions up to an agreed maximum, for a three-year period, after which time employees can utilise the lump sum to purchase Ordinary Shares in the Group, at a pre-agreed price.

Following the exercise of Options, Matt Pritchard's beneficial holding in the Company is 109,861 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.1 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
